Archives

Archives

See what’s inside a ZIP, 7z or tar, take out what you need, change it, and save it as another kind of archive. Free, and nothing is uploaded.

Files are converted in your browser and never uploaded. By using Anyfile you agree to the Terms of Use.

What you can do

See and search everything inside, preview it, open a file in its own editor and apply the changes back, add, rename, move and delete, extract, check for damage, and clear out .DS_Store and __MACOSX. Untouched files are copied exactly; save as ZIP, 7z, .tar.gz, .tar.xz or .tar. Opens and sets passwords (AES-256, or ZipCrypto for Finder and Windows), reads ZIP64, BZip2 and LZMA entries and names from any system, and keeps permissions and comments.
