Anyfile is in beta, so a few things may not work perfectly yet. Tell us what you find
Tar.bz2 archive
You can open, view and edit TAR.BZ2 files for free right here in your browser, without 7-Zip and without uploading anything. A tar bundle squeezed with bzip2, seen as .tar.bz2 or .tbz2. It trades slower packing for files that are often smaller than the same tar under gzip.
Files are converted in your browser and never uploaded. By using Anyfile you agree to the Terms of Use.

See and search everything inside, preview it, open a file in its own editor and apply the changes back, add, rename, move and delete, extract, check for damage, and clear out .DS_Store and __MACOSX. Untouched files are copied exactly; save as ZIP, 7z, .tar.gz, .tar.xz or .tar. Reads ustar, GNU and pax archives inside. Anyfile reads bzip2 but doesn’t write it, so changes are saved as .tar.xz (untouched entries keep their headers exactly), .tar.gz, ZIP or 7z.
