Anyfile is in beta, so a few things may not work perfectly yet. Tell us what you find
Bzip2 file
You can open, view and edit BZ2 files for free right here in your browser, without bunzip2 and without uploading anything. A single file compressed with bzip2, released by Julian Seward in 1996. It uses the Burrows–Wheeler transform and usually compresses smaller than gzip, but more slowly.
Files are converted in your browser and never uploaded. By using Anyfile you agree to the Terms of Use.

See and search everything inside, preview it, open a file in its own editor and apply the changes back, add, rename, move and delete, extract, check for damage, and clear out .DS_Store and __MACOSX. Untouched files are copied exactly; save as ZIP, 7z, .tar.gz, .tar.xz or .tar. A .tar.bz2 opens as the archive inside it; any other .bz2 shows the one file it holds (several bzip2 streams in a row are joined). Anyfile reads bzip2 but doesn’t write it, so changes are saved as .xz, .gz, .tar.xz, .tar.gz, ZIP or 7z.
