About XLSX files

.tsv

TSV fileTab-Separated Values

A plain-text table where tabs, not commas, divide the columns. Because commas inside values need no quoting, it suits text-heavy data such as addresses or descriptions.

Copying tables between apps and exporting data from databases and research tools.

Opens in Google Sheets, Excel, LibreOffice Calc, Numbers and text editors

Questions

How do I convert XLSX to TSV?

Drop your XLSX file on this page, or choose it. Anyfile converts it on your device in a moment and the TSV downloads straight away. To change it first, open it in the spreadsheet editor.

Is my XLSX file uploaded anywhere?

No. The file is read and converted by your own browser, and nothing is sent to a server. You can check: open your browser’s developer tools, go to Network, and convert a file. No upload appears.

What happens to the other sheets?

Every sheet becomes its own TSV, together in a ZIP.

Can I convert several XLSX files at once?

Yes. Drop them together and you get one ZIP with every TSV inside.
