About ORA files

JPEG photoJoint Photographic Experts Group

The common photo format since the early 1990s, named after the committee that designed it. Lossy compression makes files much smaller by discarding detail the eye notices least.

Questions

How do I convert ORA to JPG?

Drop your ORA file on this page, or choose it. Anyfile converts it on your device in a moment and the JPG downloads straight away. To change it first, open it in the layered image editor.

Is my ORA file uploaded anywhere?

No. The file is read and converted by your own browser, and nothing is sent to a server. You can check: open your browser’s developer tools, go to Network, and convert a file. No upload appears.

Are the layers kept?

No: JPG is a flat picture, so the layers are merged exactly as the document looks. Keep the ORA too if you want to edit layers later.

Will I lose quality?

JPG is a compressed format, and Anyfile saves at high quality, so the difference is very hard to notice. For no loss at all, keep the ORA.

What happens to transparent areas?

JPG can’t hold transparency, so they’re filled with white.

Can I convert several ORA files at once?

Yes. Drop them together and you get one ZIP with every JPG inside.
