Questions

How do I convert AVIF to JPG?

Drop your AVIF file on this page, or choose it. Anyfile converts it on your device in a moment and the JPG downloads straight away. To change it first, open it in the photo editor.

Is my AVIF file uploaded anywhere?

No. The file is read and converted by your own browser, and nothing is sent to a server. You can check: open your browser’s developer tools, go to Network, and convert a file. No upload appears.

Will the animation still play?

No: JPG holds a single picture, so only the first frame is kept.

Will I lose quality?

JPG is a compressed format, and Anyfile saves at high quality, so the difference is very hard to notice. For no loss at all, keep the AVIF.

What happens to transparent areas?

JPG can’t hold transparency, so they’re filled with white.

Is my location removed?

Not by converting: a JPG keeps camera details. Use Remove location on the drop card, or choose it when you download from the editor.

Can I convert several AVIF files at once?

Yes. Drop them together and you get one ZIP with every JPG inside.
