Questions

How do I convert AVIF to WEBP?

Drop your AVIF file on this page, or choose it. Anyfile converts it on your device in a moment and the WEBP downloads straight away. To change it first, open it in the photo editor.

Is my AVIF file uploaded anywhere?

No. The file is read and converted by your own browser, and nothing is sent to a server. You can check: open your browser’s developer tools, go to Network, and convert a file. No upload appears.

Will the animation still play?

Yes. Every frame and its timing are kept in the WEBP.

Will I lose quality?

WEBP is a compressed format, and Anyfile saves at high quality, so the difference is very hard to notice. For no loss at all, keep the AVIF.

Is my location removed?

Yes: the WEBP is saved without camera details, so the location isn’t in it.

Can I convert several AVIF files at once?

Yes. Drop them together and you get one ZIP with every WEBP inside.
