What changes from ORA to PSD

QualityNothing lost: PSD keeps every pixel
TransparencyKept
LayersKept; anything PSD can’t hold (effects, masks) is saved as it looks
Colour depthSaved at 8 bits per channel
File sizeUsually larger: PSD compresses less tightly than ORA

When to use PSD: Layered artwork, photo edits and design mock-ups that are still being worked on.

Questions

How do I convert ORA to PSD?

Drop your ORA file on this page, or choose it. Anyfile converts it on your device in a moment and the PSD downloads straight away. To change it first, open it in the layered image editor.

Is my ORA file uploaded anywhere?

No. The file is read and converted by your own browser, and nothing is sent to a server. You can check: open your browser’s developer tools, go to Network, and convert a file. No upload appears.

Are the layers kept?

Yes. PSD holds layers, so each one is kept; effects and masks it can’t hold are saved as they look.

Can I convert several ORA files at once?

Yes. Drop them together and you get one ZIP with every PSD inside.
