Questions

How do I convert GIF to ICO?

Drop your GIF file on this page, or choose it. Anyfile converts it on your device in a moment and the ICO downloads straight away. To change it first, open it in the photo editor.

Is my GIF file uploaded anywhere?

No. The file is read and converted by your own browser, and nothing is sent to a server. You can check: open your browser’s developer tools, go to Network, and convert a file. No upload appears.

Will the animation still play?

No: ICO holds a single picture, so only the first frame is kept.

Can I convert several GIF files at once?

Yes. Drop them together and you get one ZIP with every ICO inside.
