Corel’s file utility for Windows and Mac that zips, unzips, encrypts, shares and manages files, sold as Standard, Pro, Ultimate and Enterprise plans. Anyfile is a free alternative for many of the same jobs: it opens, edits and converts files in your browser, and nothing is uploaded.

When WinZip is the better choice
WinZip is the better choice if you want a Windows or Mac application with Zip and Zipx creation, RAR support, email encryption (WinZip Courier), cloud file sharing (ZipShare), PDF tools or system utilities in its higher plans, or enterprise features such as FIPS 140-3 compliant encryption and IT-controlled recovery keys. Anyfile suits quick jobs where you want to preview, extract or convert an archive in the browser without installing or paying.
