Free alternative

A free FreeConvert alternative

An online file converter that says it supports more than 1,500 conversions across video, images, audio, ebooks, documents and archives, plus small web tools such as an image resizer. Anyfile is a free alternative for many of the same jobs: it opens, edits and converts files in your browser, and nothing is uploaded.

When FreeConvert is the better choice

FreeConvert is the better choice when you need a format Anyfile does not open, files above Anyfile’s size limits (its paid plans list up to 20 GB), GPU-based video encoding, or API access. Anyfile suits one-off conversions and edits where the file should stay on your device.
