What changes from HEIC to TGA

QualityNo further loss: TGA keeps every pixel as it looks now
Camera details and locationLeft out: the TGA is saved without them
File sizeUsually larger: TGA compresses less tightly than HEIC

When to use TGA: Textures and sprites in games, 3D rendering and older video work.

Questions

How do I convert HEIC to TGA?

Drop your HEIC file on this page, or choose it. Anyfile converts it on your device in a moment and the TGA downloads straight away. To change it first, open it in the photo editor.

Is my HEIC file uploaded anywhere?

No. The file is read and converted by your own browser, and nothing is sent to a server. You can check: open your browser’s developer tools, go to Network, and convert a file. No upload appears.

Is my location removed?

Yes: the TGA is saved without camera details, so the location isn’t in it.

Can I convert several HEIC files at once?

Yes. Drop them together and you get one ZIP with every TGA inside.
