Compress TIFF

Anyfile makes a TIFF image smaller for free, right in your browser: nothing is uploaded. Drop it below and the smaller copy downloads at once.

Files are converted in your browser and never uploaded. By using Anyfile you agree to the Terms of Use.

What it does

Anyfile re-encodes the picture with the best balance of size and quality for it, and may switch a picture with no need for its format to PNG or JPG (a BMP becomes a PNG, a TIFF a JPG). Very large pictures can be scaled down to a sensible size. If it can’t make the file smaller, it keeps the original and says so.

About TIFF files

Questions

Will it still look good?

Yes, for sharing, email and the web: it’s compressed with care, and the card shows exactly how much smaller it got. For printing or further editing, keep the original.

How much smaller will it get?

It depends on the TIFF: photos saved at maximum quality and uncompressed formats shrink a lot; already-compressed ones less. The card shows the new size before you use it.

Is my file uploaded?

No. It’s compressed in your browser, on your device; nothing is sent to a server.

Can I compress several at once?

Yes. Drop them together and choose Make it smaller: you get one ZIP with every smaller file.
